The Merrimack County Board of Commissioners approved replacement of the county's aging DocStar server that supports electronic filing of documents.

Thomas Trumbull presented the request, noting the existing server was “a little long in the tooth” and that the chosen vendor met specifications including SQL Server compatibility. The board moved, seconded and approved the purchase by voice vote.

Why it matters: The DocStar server supports electronic filing and document management countywide; staff said the replacement met technical requirements and procurement procedures.
