Scott Park, the Davis County elected controller, told commissioners the registered items included 54 appeals with a total value just over $5 million, seven abatements totaling $10,295 and 16 corrections totaling $7,500. He also reported 29 assessor corrections on the assessor’s books totaling $3.9 million in value changes.
Commissioners approved the Board of Equalization register on a voice vote recorded in the transcript as “Aye.” The commission recessed to the Board of Equalization to consider the register and then reconvened the commission meeting after approval.
