Minutes of the Oct. 6, 2025 regular meeting were also approved.
Questions and clarifications: A resident had asked whether a voucher line referencing “DEI” remained on the vouchers; Director Black said that “anything that mentions DEI on the vouchers should be community engagement, and that'll be corrected going forward to reflect that.” Councilwoman Baumann asked about a bid overage for Hicks Park; Director Moore explained the Wayne County millage money was set aside for Hicks Park and that the low bid exceeded the estimate by a few thousand dollars and would be addressed by a future budget amendment.
Votes: Motion to approve the consent calendar was made by Councilman Jim Hart and supported by Councilman Wishart; the motion passed with no dissent.
Ending: The council then moved to payment of vouchers and other new business.
