Amelia County supervisors approve routine appropriations, transfer $96,000 and adopt retirement resolution; school cyber grant appropriation fails

Amelia County supervisors on Tuesday approved a number of routine and one-time budget items, accepted a retirement resolution for a long‑serving county employee and sent several items for future action. The board also rejected a school appropriation request for a federal cybersecurity pilot grant.
