Anna Barge, senior planner, presented the first reading of a proposed rezoning (KOC 25-920-516) for 706 Jericho Road at the Oldham County Fiscal Court meeting Oct. 21, 2025.
Barge said the property is half an acre and currently zoned I-1 (light industrial); the applicant seeks CN (commercial neighborhood) zoning to enable the lot to be split and for two single-family homes or low-intensity commercial uses such as a CPA or attorney office, which are allowed in CN zoning. Magistrates confirmed the parcel is on sewer and that a public-comment period will be available at the second reading.
The second reading was scheduled for the court’s first November meeting on Nov. 4, 2025, at which time the public will have the opportunity to comment.
