Fiscal Court accepts 0.44-mile extension of Commerce Parkway into county road maintenance system

Oldham County Fiscal Court voted Oct. 21 to accept the stretch of Commerce Parkway West — about 0.44 miles — into the county road maintenance system.
County Engineer Jim Silliman told the court the segment was constructed and inspected jointly with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) but had not been formally recorded in the county’s road mileage log because it lacked an associated performance bond at the time. The court passed a motion to add the section to the road maintenance system and directed that the mileage log be updated and forwarded to KYTC.
Magistrate committee members reported the road committee considered the item and recommended approval to the full court.
