Lake County planning commission discusses Nov. hearings and expedited review for certain affordable projects

Several commissioners said they would be unavailable for the Nov. 10 meeting. Commissioner Jason (last name not specified in the transcript) said he would be out of the country for the Nov. 10 meeting; Commissioner Heather Land said she also would not be available. Commissioner Joey Edwards said he would also not be available for Nov. 10. Commissioner Ryan Hill indicated he expected to be available for Nov. 10. Staff said they would check with Commissioner Steve Stevens about which November meeting he could attend. Commissioners discussed quorum implications and agreed to try to schedule hearings so items can be adopted before the end of the year and forwarded to the board in December.
No final policy action on the expedited-review proposal occurred on Oct. 20; staff indicated it would return on Nov. 10 for legislative consideration.
