“Construction work on the high school's $52,000,000 capital improvement project continues with the House 2 renovations located on the First Floor,” Dr. Tice said. The superintendent said contractors expect to finish first‑floor work and move to the second floor around the holiday break.
Dr. Tice added that the phase‑5 site‑work bid package will include milling and replacement of the topcoat on student and staff parking lots, continuation of paving on Bridal Lane, and installation of an access road behind the building for emergency use. The district anticipates completing phase‑5 during 2026.
The superintendent also said architects were preparing separate bid packages for site work, indicating a multi‑stage procurement and construction schedule. Board members asked the administration to provide materials in advance for future meetings so that the board can review schedules and bidding timelines.
