Kate Newman, county staff, said the recommended changes would relocate term-limit language from the central boards-and-commissions appointment policy back into each individual board policy to reduce confusion. "What we do experience is we do have to make a change each time," Newman said, describing administrative difficulty keeping the central table synchronized with individual policies.
Staff said they would also remove COVID-specific language while continuing to encourage hybrid meetings for accessibility.
