At the close of the June 24 briefing, a commissioner moved that the Board of County Commissioners enter executive session to discuss two matters: the Town of Castle Rock Deer Creek water‑rights application and a proposed settlement (for legal advice under CRS 24‑6‑402(4)(b) and to receive advice to negotiators under subsection (4)(e)); and the purchase and sale agreement for 5079 State Highway 93 (legal advice under CRS 24‑6‑402(4)(b) and advice to negotiators under subsection (4)(e)).
A motion to go into executive session was moved and seconded; no commissioners opposed and the board recessed to executive session after a short break for lunch.
The board record during the public briefing reflects only the motion, second and unanimous agreement to proceed; the content of the executive session was not discussed in the public record.
