The Cibolo Economic Development Corporation voted to approve new pole banners for Old Town Cibolo and authorized staff to proceed with procurement up to a not-to-exceed budget of $10,000.
At the meeting, Clancy Harden, EDC staff, presented four seasonal banner designs and a plan to produce 30 banner locations in four sets — "so a 120 total banners," Harden said. Harden said the city received two vendor quotes and that Display Signs is a BuyBoard-approved vendor; the alternate quote came from FASTSIGNS. The project estimate presented to the board was roughly $7,300 before adjustments such as tax exemptions, he said.
