Helena commission confirms firefighter EMT Christopher Weiner

The City of Helena Commission on Oct. 20, 2025, voted 5-0 to confirm Christopher Weiner as a firefighter-EMT for the Helena Fire Department and administered the oath of office.
The appointment, moved and seconded during the meeting, followed a brief presentation from Fire Chief Campbell. Chief Campbell said Weiner is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a Montana City Fire Department volunteer who completed a one-year probationary period with the department.
Weiner addressed the commission before the vote: "I would like to thank everyone for the opportunity to serve my community. It’s been an honor this last year… I would like to thank the fire department… and, particularly, the family for being my mentor." After the roll-call vote the clerk announced the motion carried 5 to 0 and Weiner recited the oath of office.
