Village of Jackson personnel committee backs full-time deputy treasurer recommendation, approves part-time property-room manager job description

The Village of Jackson Personnel Committee on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, approved the minutes from its Aug. 12 meeting, voted to recommend converting the part-time deputy treasurer position to a full-time role contingent on final approval of the village's 2026 budget, and approved a part-time property room manager job description for the police department.

Committee members moved and seconded each item and recorded unanimous voice approvals. Committee member Emerick moved to approve the Aug. 12 minutes; Committee member Kripke seconded and the motion carried.

The committee then considered Item 3, the job description for a full-time deputy treasurer. Darlene, a village staff member, said the part-time deputy treasurer resigned and that workload and recent staff changes made an earlier conversion necessary.
