The Town of Charlton Planning Board voted Oct. 1 to approve the site plan for L & B Enterprises LLC, a commercial site at 29 South Bridge Road, after the applicant submitted revised drawings and recent soil test results.
The applicant’s surveyor, Mika Laszlo, said the team had completed requested soil testing and made minor plan edits requested by Graves Engineering; the board’s review engineer and members concluded the changes were largely clerical and did not change the project design. “We issued a response letter, we did soil testing, and we made the minor plan edits that Graves had commented on,” Laszlo told the board.
Board members discussed building elevation and whether rooftop solar was planned; the applicant said there would be no rooftop solar. The board noted that stormwater and conservation issues had been addressed, and no additional conditions were placed on the site‑plan approval.
Motion and vote: a board member moved to approve the site plan; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. The board asked the applicant to keep the board updated on construction progress.
