Prospect — The Prospect City Council on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, approved the minutes of its Sept. 15, 2025 regular meeting and later adjourned after receiving reports from the mayor, finance staff, boards and the police chief.
The council unanimously approved the minutes after a motion to adopt was made and a second was recorded. No amendments were raised during the approval.
During the meeting the council received the mayor’s report, finance and investment updates, committee reports, and a public-safety briefing from the police. After those reports, a council member moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded and the council voted to adjourn.
The meeting opened at 7 p.m. and included routine announcements about upcoming city events, a parks repair volunteer request, and an update on investments and restricted funds. No substantive ordinance votes or new policy adoptions were taken.
