Justice Belanger and other volunteer committee members reported that the county’s recent Keep Saline Clean trash pickup collected about 1.75 tons of trash — an increase over prior events — and that the committee set three dates for next year (two in spring, one in fall) to expand the program and involve schools.
Court members encouraged justices to coordinate with local school leadership to increase student volunteer participation in future pickups and said more details will be shared as dates are finalized.
