Supporters tell county proposed Paris Mountain environmental zoning changes guide growth and protect steep-slopes and heritage trees

Cooperman said the proposed language would protect heritage trees, clarify buffer widths and manage lighting density on steep or sensitive slopes. No speakers opposed the amendments during the hearing. The chair noted this was an informational hearing; the item will proceed through the normal recommendation and reading process.
