The updates came during the council’s regular meeting. Parks and recreation staff member Mrs. Sautner said the basketball league “is already up going,” that signups began the first of the month, tryouts are planned for Nov. 22 and the first games are scheduled for Dec. 2. She said league volunteers and committee members are meeting and that the league’s meetings take place the first Monday of every month at Pizza Plus at 6 p.m.
