The Rancho Cordova Planning Commission voted 6-0 at its meeting to continue consideration of the Royal Wave Car Wash appeal, a project listed as APPL-0725-0001 for 3591 and 3501 Bradshaw Road, after the applicant requested more time to revise project tools.
Senior Planner Nick Sosa told the commission, “The applicant has requested to continue their item to a date uncertain. They are continuing to work on potentially new tools for their project, so they would like to continue it to a later date.” The clerk confirmed there were no public speakers and that the commission had received an emailed public comment from Alisa Cooley that was posted to the city website.
Staff announced the project had been identified as CEQA-exempt pursuant to section 15061(b)(3) of the California Environmental Quality Act guidelines. The commission made a motion to approve the continuance and approved it by roll call vote; the clerk recorded a 6-0 vote with Commissioner Deborah Pauley absent. The motion did not record the mover or seconder by name in the public record.
The continuance means the commission will take no further action on the project until the applicant returns with revised materials; no new hearing date was specified at the meeting. No public testimony was presented at the time of the continuance.
The meeting recording and posted materials are available on the city website within 48 hours of adjournment, the clerk said.
