A motion to approve the second reading and adoption was moved by Jill and seconded by Adam. Board members discussed the timeline for prior readings and confirmed the item had been reviewed multiple times by the policy committee since January. After limited additional comment the board called the question and approved the policy unanimously, including votes from members participating online.
Board members noted the policy can be revised later if procedures need adjustment, and staff said the district can bring changes back to the policy committee as needed.
