Council: search continues for new pickleball courts; police asked to enforce closing times

Regarding late-night play, the official said the police are assigned to close courts at the posted time but that staffing limitations sometimes delay enforcement; staff said they are trying to adjust procedures to reduce late play.
Mayor and council remarks reiterated that the administration has not abandoned the issue and that some previously considered sites were rejected after staff confirmed the town did not own certain parcels. Council members asked for patience while staff work through property ownership and siting questions; no new timeline was adopted at the meeting.
