The Planning & Zoning Committee on Sept. 2 approved a consent agenda authorizing a series of technical water, sanitary-sewer and encroachment actions across Nashville and Davidson County, voting 11-0 to adopt the items.
The consent package included resolutions to allow the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Department of Water and Sewage Services, to enter preliminary engineering agreements, abandon existing public water and sanitary-sewer mains and manholes, and accept new public water and sanitary-sewer mains and easements at multiple properties. The agenda also included ordinances permitting underground and aboveground encroachments for development projects.
