Zoning board approves temporary livestreaming and video storage through year-end

The Township of Washington Zoning Board of Adjustment on Aug. 19 approved resolution ZB25-14 to permit livestreaming and Internet storage of board meeting video through the end of 2025.
Mister Zitko moved to approve the resolution; the motion was seconded and passed by roll call. Board members agreed to revisit the livestream policy in January.
During the discussion members noted that a prior YouTube broadcast had cut off during an earlier meeting; staff and members said they would monitor the service and report back. The board asked staff to coordinate with municipal technology staff to ensure reliable streaming and to bring any recommended changes in January.
The board also discussed letters it had sent to the mayor and council on various code and fee topics; board members said they would circulate copies of sent letters to all board members and report back when the council acts.
