The Paradise Town Advisory Board on July 29 approved preliminary staff conditions for a truck‑staging area on a roughly 16.15‑acre parking lot north of Tropicana Avenue and east of Paradise Road in Paradise.

Tony Sludge, speaking for the applicant, said this was the third review of the previously approved truck‑staging use and that the applicant was "asking for 2 years" because of planned Tropicana Avenue reconstruction. "We're coming in and asking for 2 years," Sludge told the board.

No members of the public spoke on the item. A board member moved to approve the application with preliminary staff conditions and the board approved the motion by voice vote. The approval was recorded as a limited-term authorization aligned with the applicant's request; staff noted the need to coordinate with the Department of Aviation regarding future road reconstruction.

The advisory-board approval advances the matter to county review with the stated two‑year window as the operational expectation tied to reconstruction plans.
