The Paradise Advisory Board approved a waiver of development standards to allow an attached cover over an RV parking area at a single‑family residence on Nomo Street, subject to preliminary staff conditions.
Property owner LaRee Chase told the board she and her husband purchased the house with existing RV access and obtained HOA permission to install gates; she said the proposed cover would match the color and style of an existing patio cover and extend about 40 feet from the front gate back toward the house. Chase said she notified adjacent neighbors and that the immediate southern neighbor (who rents the house to her son) indicated she had no objection if the work was permitted.
Board members asked for clarifications about footing and drainage; Chase said the structure will be bolted into concrete with periodic drainage gutters running to the property’s drainage system. No public opposition was recorded; the board approved the waiver with preliminary staff conditions.
