The Paradise Town Advisory Board voted to approve an extension of time for permit reviews related to construction at a Vega residence after the applicant told the board a county review (described by the applicant as a minor aviation review) remained in process.
Applicant Paula Vega said county reviewers were still evaluating plans and directed her to return for an extension. Board members pressed Vega to maintain regular contact with county permitting staff because the structure was already in use, and a board member said the board would be reluctant to grant another extension.
A motion to approve the extension subject to staff conditions passed by voice vote. Board members said they expect the applicant to resolve outstanding permitting matters with county staff before returning to the board.
