Paradise advisory board elects new chair and vice chair, approves minutes

The Paradise Town Advisory Board elected Kimberly Swartzlander as chair and John Williams as vice chair during its Jan. 14 meeting and approved the minutes from its Dec. 10, 2024 meeting.
The vote to appoint Swartzlander followed a nomination by a board member who noted Swartzlander’s tenure on the board. The board was similarly unanimous in appointing Williams as vice chair. The board also approved the meeting agenda and the Dec. 10, 2024 minutes by voice vote.
The chair stated procedural reminders about public comment limits and that planning and zoning recommendations from this advisory board are forwarded to the Clark County Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners for final action.
There were no substantive public comments during the general-comment period and no further board action on the items discussed during this portion of the meeting.
