Board approves naming of unnamed road in Southern Highlands as Highlands Ridge Trail

The Enterprise Town Advisory Board on June 11 approved a street name change to designate an unnamed access road as Highlands Ridge Trail. The road will run south from Star Hills Avenue through a portion of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land to serve a Lennar subdivision in the Southern Highlands master plan.
Parker Sieg, representing applicant Lennar, said the street would access a community of about 189 home sites and that required approvals had been obtained from the fire department, the BLM and the master developer. He told the board the applicant appreciated staff’s recommendation of approval.
The board opened and closed public comment with no speakers and approved the street name change per staff conditions on a voice vote.
Next steps: The name change will be processed per county naming procedures and recorded in addressing records.
