Southwest ISD certifies May election results, swears in two trustees and elects officers

Scott, presenting the canvass, said the district contracted with Bexar County to host the election and recommended the board declare Ida Sudolkin and Sylvester Vasquez the winners; the board approved the canvass by voice vote.
Mona Weezar administered the oath of office to the newly elected trustees.
The board then held officer elections for May 2025–May 2026. Trustees elected Sylvester Vasquez as board president and Ida Sadelkin as vice president. Florina (Flo) Bernal was elected secretary and an individual identified in the transcript as Jake Sullivan was approved as assistant secretary after a nomination reference to James Sullivan earlier in the proceeding.
No substantive policy decisions were made during the canvass or oath administration; the actions were procedural, recording the certified results and assigning board officer roles.
