Commissioner Dowell moved to accept the bid and assign the service contract; Commissioner Branch seconded the motion. Commissioner comments clarified the approval is contingent on the county attorney's review. The board approved the motion by voice vote.
The grant that funded the project was referenced by Barwick as the source of the award the board previously approved. Board members did not alter the scope on the floor; Barwick noted only minor contract edits were anticipated in the attorney review. The board did not discuss a construction timetable or a dollar amount for the contract during the meeting.
