He said the proposals have been under discussion for multiple years and encouraged residents to contact state lawmakers if they oppose the measures.
Vitiello said he and other county officials will work with cities across counties to resist state incursions on local land‑use control. The remarks were delivered during public comment; council members thanked the supervisor and echoed the need for citizen engagement.
