Board approves weapons-detection systems; SROs to assist at elementary campuses

Staff said a paragraph addressing searches exists in the district policy manual under FNF (local) and that a process is already posted on the police department website; staff also said they would review Mansfield and Corsicana districts' full policies and bring recommendations to cabinet for whether a fuller board-level policy should be presented.
