At the meeting's close, Taos Municipal Schools board members confirmed their next regular meeting will be Aug. 20, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the boardroom and repeated that a welcome‑back convocation will take place tomorrow at 1 p.m. at the TCA.

A board member asked that minutes be added to the agenda and noted a service that would automate and accelerate publication of minutes. A participant also said a contact at the U.S. Department of Justice had been reached and that someone had requested an executive session to speak with the board at a future time; board members advised caution and recommended following up by phone.

Board member Perez announced a free reception this Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hotel Willow featuring work by Taos High School graduate Josh Tafoya, who has worked in fashion design in Washington, D.C., New York City and Paris. Members asked that the event details be shared with Samantha so the board calendar can include the item.

The meeting adjourned after the board completed future‑topics business. Votes to exit executive session were recorded and the meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn.
