Zoning board approves minutes and confirms special attorney for religious land-use matters

At the Aug. 27 meeting the Cerebral Zoning Board of Adjustment approved the minutes of its July 23, 2025 meeting by roll call and discussed hiring of a special attorney for religious land-use matters.
Board members confirmed the vote at a prior meeting to retain the special attorney; board members said the attorney will attend specific hearings involving religious land-use issues and provide training sessions to the board before such applications come before them. The board noted there is not yet an application on the calendar for the matter and that the attorney will not regularly attend every meeting—he will appear for specific applications or attend a preparatory training when warranted.
The chair closed routine business after no public comment and then adjourned the meeting.
