The PERS retiree insurance advisory committee recommended that the board continue the PERS-sponsored retiree medical insurance Medicare Supplement plan with Transamerica for calendar year 2026 and hold an open enrollment period Oct. 1–Nov. 30.
Mr. Higgins presented the advisory committee recommendation and said the committee voted unanimously to adopt plan changes proposed by Transamerica.
