Planning commission approves three conditional-use permit reviews on consent

The Pennington County Planning Commission on Sept. 8 approved three conditional-use permit reviews on the consent agenda: a vacation home rental, temporary occupancy of a double-wide home, and a guest house review, all per staff recommendations.
On Sept. 8 the Pennington County Planning Commission approved three conditional-use permit reviews on its consent agenda by a single vote.
The items approved were: COCUR12-27 (Mike Dressler), a review of a vacation home rental in a suburban residential district; COCUR24-0004 (Brooks Johnson), a review related to occupying an existing double-wide home while building a residence in an agricultural district; and COCUR20-48 (Matt and Paula Martin), a review of a guest house in an agricultural district. Planning staff recommended approval of the Dressler and Martin reviews; on the Johnson item staff recommended to end COCUR24-0004 with the applicant's concurrence as recorded in the staff report.
The chair called for a motion to approve the consent agenda, the motion was made and seconded, and the commission approved the consent agenda by voice vote. No members of the public spoke on these items during the meeting.
