Trustee Daley, presenting the Capital Infrastructure Committee item, said park construction had rendered most of the existing irrigation system unsalvageable and that staff had identified approximately $86,802 available in the project budget to replace the system. The board moved and approved two concurrent motions: to waive the second reading and to accept the replacement proposal from Team Real under TIPs contract 23010402.

The contract award was described by staff as within the existing park project budget after value‑engineering and other staff efforts. No public objections were recorded during the meeting. The roll call recorded unanimous support from trustees present; two trustees were absent. The board packet identified Team Real’s proposal as included in the staff background materials.
