Motion to approve the beverage-service agreement was made and seconded; the chair called for the vote and the motion passed with no recorded opposition. Staff said Mid Wisconsin Beverage has supplied the facility for many seasons and is locally owned. The contract includes a 5.9% pricing adjustment, a $500 annual marketing credit payable to the village and three annual complimentary three-gallon product items; it also covers smaller lifeguard-chair umbrellas (not the large patio umbrellas). Staff said the marketing credit will go to the village, and the free items are a guaranteed value independent of season-to-season sales fluctuations.
Staff noted the village has previously contracted with larger national beverage suppliers in past years but has had positive operational experience with Mid Wisconsin. The committee’s motion was presented by Trustee Corvino and seconded by Trustee Easter; staff recommended approval and the motion passed.
