"The low bidder was Tresco paving with a bid of $1,400,000," Mike said, and staff asked counsel to award the contract to Tresco in an amount not to exceed $1,500,000.
Council moved and seconded the motion to award the contract and voted unanimously; the meeting transcript recorded the approval without listing individual roll-call votes or subsequent contract documents. The next-lowest bid was $1,550,000, Mike said.
