Municipal staff said that under a Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) consent decree with the sewage authority, amendments to the Act 537 plan are required whenever additional equivalent dwelling units (EDUs) are added to the sanitary system. The resolution authorizes the Meadowlink property owner to connect the northern section pool and pool house to the system.
Staff recommended approval after engineering review and told council the work is acceptable from an engineering standpoint. A staff member said the applicant is Bushy Run Investments, the corporate owner of the golf‑club property.
Council voted to approve Resolution No. 799‑25. Staff said the action would allow the club to connect the pool and associated facilities to the municipal sewer system; staff did not indicate the change would prevent the swim club from opening this season and said they had not been given information that operations would be affected.
The resolution was approved by council without dissent and will be filed as the Act 537 plan amendment required by DEP procedures.
