Council appoints library board member and authorizes advertisement for library sidewalk project

At its July 14 meeting Murrysville Borough Council appointed Lisa Entreary Fellner to the Murrysville Community Library Board for a term ending Dec. 31, 2026, and authorized advertisement of a public works bid for the library sidewalk reconstruction (DPW‑7‑25).
Jason (Councilmember) moved to appoint Lisa Fellner to the library board; the motion was seconded and approved unanimously. Council asked staff to notify the appointee so she may attend the upcoming library meeting.
Council also authorized advertising the library sidewalk reconstruction project; Michael (Chief Administrator) said the action initiates the procurement advertisement only and does not award a contract. "This is just the advertisement," he told council. The authorization passed unanimously.
Staff will notify the appointee and proceed with the public bid advertisement and standard procurement steps for the sidewalk project.
