Beer board approves Flower Child beer and wine permit contingent on occupancy

The City of Franklin Beer Board on March 13 approved an on- and off-premises beer and wine permit for Flower Child Franklin, 1560 W. McEwen Drive, Suite 150, contingent on the applicant providing a certificate of occupancy.
Assistant general manager Gabby (identified in the meeting) said the location will be the company’s sixth in the region and that Flower Child will only sell beer and wine, not spirits. She described company policy requiring employees to obtain TABC (server) certification within 30 days and to lose service privileges if certification lapses.
Staff recommended approval conditioned on the CO; the motion carried unanimously with yes votes from Alderman Barnhill, Alderman Caesar and the chair.
