The City of Franklin Beer Board on March 13 approved an on-premises beer permit for XGolf Franklin, a new indoor golf facility at 209 S. Royal Oaks Blvd., Suite 188.
Owner Jason Laferney told the board XGolf will have seven golf simulators, a full kitchen and a full bar. He said staff will be trained on ID verification and beer service; Laferney said the suite is about 8,100 square feet and he expects maximum occupancy in the "seventies." Staff recommended approval and the board voted yes: Alderman Barnhill, Alderman Caesar and the chair.
The board recorded approval; the certificate of occupancy had been submitted the morning of the meeting and the applicant agreed to provide occupancy figures to staff.
