The council approved: (1) minutes of the April 17 regular meeting; (2) bid award and authorization for the village manager to enter into an agreement with Looks Great Services of MS Inc. as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $827,125 for debris removal services; (3) a special event permit for Mission Barbecue to hold an Armed Forces Day celebration at 11929 Southern Boulevard on May 17 during business hours; and (4) authorization for the village manager to enter into a professional services agreement with BGE Incorporated for surveying services for various village projects.
No consent items were pulled for separate discussion. A motion to approve the consent agenda passed unanimously.
