Two residents used the public‑comment period to ask for a meeting with the superintendent to resolve an ongoing concern they said has not been addressed since May.
Danica Gibson Huggins of Glenside told the board she and others returned after a May meeting expecting movement on their issue but saw no progress. "We came here in May for the previous board meeting, and Dr. Savage approached us, and we thought that it would be handled by now; unfortunately, there has been no movement," Gibson Huggins said.
Julie Reeding said she had provided documents to the district and asked to meet with the superintendent so he could understand the situation and move toward resolution. "I would like to have a meeting with you so you can understand what I'm saying and why I'm here," Reeding said.
The superintendent responded that he would get up to speed on the matter and schedule a meeting to determine next steps. The board’s record shows the matter was raised during the public‑comment segment and the superintendent agreed to follow up; no formal action or board vote on the matter was recorded.
Ending: The board encouraged commenters to use posted procedures and for staff to arrange the requested meeting; no additional details about the complaint were placed on the public record during the meeting.
