Superintendent Dr. McGowan told the board the district has been a longtime partner with Impact Earth and that the county grant is intended to help replicate and expand programs the district already operates. "This grant was available throughout the county," Dr. McGowan said, and he expressed gratitude to the county for the funding opportunity.
Board members voted to approve the agreement; Karen moved the motion and Esther seconded. No dollar amount for the grant was stated in the meeting transcript. The approval authorizes district administrators to accept the county grant and continue program operations and expansion with partner organizations.
