Mayor Melanie White and other members asked staff to request a syllabus or curriculum excerpt and to confirm whether the program would discuss options not legal in Maryland.
Council voted 7–0 to fund the File of Life proposal at $2,200 and directed the village manager to work with proposers and village programming staff to flesh out logistics and liability coverage for the higher-ranked end-of-life program; the council did not approve funding for the end-of-life program at this meeting.
