Commission approves preliminary plats for South Wind Village phase 4 and Wright's Farm section 4

The commission on Sept. 4 approved two preliminary plats: South Wind Village Phase 4, a single-family subdivision off Hereford Farm Road; and Wright’s Farm Section 4 off Reynolds Road.
Danielle, planning staff, said South Wind Village Phase 4 is on the west side of Hereford Farm Road and would include 80 single-family lots with a minimum lot size of 10,005 square feet and an average lot size of about 10,766 square feet; the proposal includes roughly 20 acres of open space, required setbacks and sidewalk and street-tree installation. Staff recommended approval.
Danielle also described Wright’s Farm Section 4 as 93 single-family lots on both sides of Reynolds Road, zoned planned unit development, with minimum lots around 9,437 square feet and an average lot size around 11,436 square feet; the section includes about 3.28 acres of open space and proposes sidewalks and street trees. Staff noted interdepartmental comments remained and recommended approval contingent on resolving those comments. The commission approved both preliminary plats.
