The board unanimously established a consent agenda and then approved the consent agenda by roll call. The board approved the treasurer’s report for the month ending Dec. 31, 2024 and the December budget status report by roll call.
The board moved into closed session under provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act to discuss personnel and collective bargaining matters, and returned to open session to act on items from closed session. The board approved the appointment of Dr. Pedro Castro as assistant principal (motion carried by roll call with members voting yes: Finnegan, Stout, Taylor, Galvin, Olsen, Kane). The board also approved a resignation agreement for employee number 02032025 by roll call.
The meeting closed after an adjournment motion that passed on a voice vote.
