DuPage HSD 88 approves administrative title changes, benefit adjustments and staff contract following closed session

After a closed session, the DuPage High School District 88 Board of Education approved several personnel and contract actions on the record.
The board approved revised job descriptions and position‑title changes that reclassify the athletic director positions at both high schools. The board voted to change the position title of Humberto Ayala to assistant principal for athletics and operations at Addison Trail High School and to change the position title of Edward Sullivan to assistant principal for athletics and operations at Willowbrook High School.
The board also approved a Tier‑2 administrative benefit adjustment consisting of a supplemental 403(b) contribution for TRS Tier‑2 administrators (as described in closed session) and approved an increase in the compensation pool for administrators, management and nonunion exempt employees not on multi‑year agreements or retirement contracts for the 2025–26 school year. The compensation increase was authorized not to exceed the CPI‑U cap at 5 percent, reported as 3.4 percent for the referenced period.
The board adopted the District 88 clerical and technical staff contract for 2025–2028. In addition, on the record the board approved issuance of a notice to remedy for employee number 060920258 and approved the recommendation for termination of employee number 06092025b; both actions were recorded by roll call.
All motions taken after closed session were approved by roll call.
